WHEN YOU FEEL “TOO MUCH” OR “NOT ENOUGH”

Ever had that nagging feeling that you're either "too much" or "not enough" for the world around you? You're not alone. These emotions often stem from being out of alignment with your authentic self. In this post, we’ll explore five reasons behind these feelings and how embracing your God-given design can lead to a more fulfilling, Kingdom-aligned life.

But here’s the truth: It’s important to know God so He can introduce you to your original design. The treasure of who you really are will blow your mind. What you’ve believed was “too much” or “not enough” is often a misunderstood expression of your unique wiring.

SOCIETAL EXPECTATIONS VS. AUTHENTICITY

Society often sets certain standards and expectations for how we should behave, look, or achieve success. When we try to fit into these molds that don’t resonate with our true selves, we may feel like we’re "too much" or "not enough."

Solution: Embrace your uniqueness and challenge societal norms that don’t align with your authentic design. It’s time to break free from the constraints of conformity and step fully into who God created you to be—especially as a Kingdom woman building legacy at home and in business. Knowing God intimately opens your eyes to this truth: you are His intentional design.

COMPARISON AND SELF-DOUBT

Constantly comparing ourselves to others can lead to feelings of inadequacy. We may believe that we're not measuring up to someone else’s standards, especially when scrolling through highlight reels on social media.

Solution: Focus on your own journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and alignment with God's plan. Recognize that everyone’s path and design is unique. Your authenticity is your greatest asset—not only for you but for the Kingdom impact you’re called to make in your family and business.

SUPPRESSING YOUR TRUE SELF

Have you ever hidden aspects of your personality or passions to please others or avoid judgment? Suppressing your true self can create inner conflict and lead to feeling like you’re "too much" or "not enough."

Solution: Embrace your dopeness wholeheartedly. When you allow your authentic self to shine, you attract people and opportunities that align with your true essence. This is especially important as a Kingdom mama modeling identity and boldness for your children and your community. And again, that journey begins by letting God reintroduce you to yourself—His original masterpiece.

EXTERNAL VALIDATION VS. INTRINSIC WORTH

Relying on external validation—social media likes, applause, or approval—can create a rollercoaster of emotions. When you seek validation from the outside, you may feel "not enough" without it.

Solution: Cultivate self-worth from within. Your value isn’t up for debate—it was settled at creation. Practice self-love and self-acceptance and remember: you were created to reflect God's glory, not someone else's filtered version of success. The more you lean into who God says you are, the more your confidence and identity will be rooted in unshakeable truth.

IGNORING YOUR INTUITION

Ignoring your inner voice and intuition can lead to misalignment. You might find yourself in relationships, roles, or routines that don’t align with your values or calling.

Solution: Listen to your intuition. It’s your inner compass—activated by Holy Spirit—guiding you toward alignment. When you're in sync with your design, your motherhood flows differently. Your business functions with clarity. Your legacy builds in peace. But none of that is possible without knowing God first. He’s the one who placed the treasure in you and reveals it layer by layer.

EMBRACE WHO GOD CREATED YOU TO BE

Feeling like you're "too much" or "not enough" is a signal—not of failure, but of misalignment. It’s a nudge back to the original version of you that God created with purpose, intention, and power.

By taking time to understand and embrace your uniqueness, you step into your role as a Kingdom builder. Whether you’re raising little ones or leading in business (or both), your authentic alignment matters. And it starts with this: Know God. Let Him introduce you to the gift that is you. The treasure you’ll discover will blow your mind.

It's time to let go of external expectations and step into the freedom of being YOU. You are and have always been super dope—and don’t you forget it!
