THE KINGDOM BUSINESS OF HOME

ASKING GOD TO REVEAL YOUR PURPOSE ...
And often, the first place God wants to align and reveal to you is home… within the walls of your house, both the one you live in and the one you live from. Your external home and your internal self. Because true Kingdom alignment begins where you dwell, inside and out.
"GREAT ASSIGNMENTS" never arrive with fireworks and fanfare.

Sometimes it shows up in the dishes, the routines, the conversations, and the clutter. The sacredness of home is often overlooked because we underestimate the training ground and process of the reveal of what we carry and personal development behind closed doors.

Now what if you were offered this grand assignment from God that had on-the-job training with a trusted position and amazing benefits? You were warned that the training would be different and intense, but the reward would be great. You would sign up and push through and do your best to do it with excellence, right? Well…

HOME IS A TRAINING GROUND FOR KINGDOM IMPACT

Before platforms. Before products. Before public ministry. God often starts by building a foundation at home. It is there that character is formed, healing is initiated, and order is restored.

If your purpose feels unclear, start asking:
What is God trying to heal in me right now?
What is He asking me to organize, steward, or restructure?
Where is He inviting me to slow down, listen, or lead?

THE KINGDOM BUSINESS OF HOME ISN'T SMALL. IT'S STRATEGIC.

God is a God of order and flow. Home is the first assignment where those principles are tested and refined.
You learn how to serve without applause. You learn how to lead with love. You learn how to respond, not react. You learn how to carry and release peace in chaos.
These are the same tools you will need when He expands your territory.

Can we manage chaos and still provide order?
Can we transform monstrous behavior with love and patience?
Can we self-regulate and teach emotional intelligence at the same time?

Can we problem-solve in a way that turns daily frustrations into blessings?
Can we look into our children’s complaints, hear what God is saying, and then shift the atmosphere?
Can we pivot, negotiate, and navigate sticky situations without melting down?

Are we submitted to God for His vision, checking in regularly to ensure we’re still aligned with it for our family and our house? That’s good management. That’s true stewardship. That’s promotion-worthy.

Can we steward and maximize time, even when time feels limited?
Can we command peace and joy in our space—and hold it?
Can we accept accountability without condemnation, while strategizing for better outcomes?

Can we keep our word to God, ourselves, and our family?
Can we find solutions and resources instead of excuses?
Can we seek God for vision—and then actually move according to that vision?
Can we be trustworthy leaders and manage our homes well?
Can we legislate in our homes—and self-govern too?

These are the makings of Kingdom building. The development of character and the stewardship of relationships. This is the best training opportunity you will have (in my opinion). Your development here will rarely be exchanged with performance, cause home is raw, real and private.
Are you being discipled to ensure you're growing well? Do you surround yourself with people who can teach rather than control you?

REDEFINING PURPOSE THROUGH GOD'S LENS

What most people are calling “purpose” is often just God's current assignment for them—strategic, timely, and necessary. True purpose isn’t about titles, stages, or platforms. It’s about alignment with the will and purposes of God in this exact moment.

When you look at it that way, no stage, platform, or audience is greater than the one He has placed you on right now—whether that’s the kitchen floor during a toddler meltdown, teenagers or spouses in identity crisis, the laundry room where prayers go up with every fold, or the quiet morning hours when your home is still. Family gatherings or shared tears.

Even navigating the moments where you may cry, scream, or shout are moments that are invitations to come closer to God, to get more intimate, and sit in Him for alignment and healing. It is an invitation for you to meet the YOU that He created, wired and design as you find your likeness in Him. Many opportunities for you to sharpen dominion over your own self.

Sometimes we frame "purpose" as public wins and viral moments, but Heaven sees purpose in your obedience, patience, resilience, faith, your prayers, and your process of revealing God's original intent and design.

The way you honor your home life is directly tied to the way you will be able to honor the business or ministry God gives you to steward.

So today, let God meet you in the laundry, the lunchbox packing, the lesson planning, and the late-night talks. That is Kingdom business. That is the soil where purpose gets planted.
