Today, we begin a transformative search to uncover what some call "your truest self", starting with Tip #1: Investigate What You Hate.

It might sound backwards at first. Why focus on what irritates or infuriates you? Shouldn’t we start with joy? But there’s hidden wisdom here: your aversions often reveal your deepest values, passions, and divine wiring.

TIP #1: INVESTIGATE WHAT YOU HATE

Think about it. What gets under your skin? What injustice or dysfunction makes you visibly upset or emotionally drained? These are not just pet peeves. These are Holy Spirit clues. Your strong reactions signal areas where your Kingdom values are clashing with the brokenness of the world—and within that tension lies your purpose.

DISCOVERING YOUR NEMESIS: EMBRACING DISCOMFORT TO FIND PURPOSE

What you hate most may be your clearest indicator of what you were born to shift, heal, or transform. For example, if systems of chaos deeply frustrate you, it’s likely you were created to bring order. If dishonor makes you uncomfortable, maybe you’re called to model honor in your relationships, your parenting, or your business.

Your “nemesis” is not just a burden—it’s a mirror. A mirror that reflects who you are and why you're here. And the clearer that mirror becomes, the more you can show up as the Kingdom woman and mother you were designed to be.

THE HIDDEN WISDOM: GOD USES EVEN YOUR AVERSIONS

Imagine your aversions as puzzle pieces in the image of your original design. Every piece matters. They help form the picture of your assignment. That thing you can't stand? You were likely created to be the answer to it—especially in your family and through the work of your hands.

And here’s the truth: you are the solution to something the world desperately needs. But you won’t know what that is until you let God reintroduce you to who you truly are.

THE TRUE MIRROR: INTIMACY WITH GOD

The journey of discovering your authentic self isn’t about finding new ideas—it’s about returning to the mirror of your Creator. Intimacy with God is the key. He alone holds the blueprint of your original design. You can't fully see who you are unless you’re looking into the One who made you.

He will show you who you’ve always been—before the expectations, the pain, the perfectionism, the roles you had to play. When you draw near to Him, He reflects back the truth of your identity, and THAT is the fire you pass on to your children, your community, your business, and your generation.

TRUST THE PROCESS

Even the discomfort serves a purpose. Even what you dislike, or what triggers you, can guide you back to God’s plan. Romans 8:28 reminds us that all things—even irritation, even conflict, even confusion—can work together for good when we love Him and walk according to His call.

So trust the uncomfortable. Investigate it. Let Holy Spirit help you ask, “Why does this bother me so much?” Because what bothers you might just be the birthplace of your Kingdom assignment.

I challenge you to spend one week documenting the things you hate—things that make you want to change the world. Then ask God to show you the common thread. Journal what you learn. Talk to Him about your aversions. Let Him show you how they point to your Kingdom role and unique contribution.

This is the kind of clarity that shifts homes. This is the kind of alignment that activates Kingdom builders. This is the kind of awareness that lets you raise your kids in truth and operate your business in purpose. And it starts with intimacy—with letting God reintroduce you to YOU.
